Our Story

The Lowman family’s legacy in construction began in the mid-1950s when Jon’s grandfather, Conley, started building in Central Florida. His passion for quality craftsmanship was passed down to his sons, who founded Lowman Brothers Construction in 1979. After years of successful projects, the brothers expanded into new ventures, establishing additional companies in the area.

Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, uncles, and father, Jon pursued his passion for construction, earning a degree from the prestigious University of Florida M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management. His career took him across the country, where he honed his skills building cancer vaults, dental offices, and residential remodels.

In 2016, after a decade of traveling, Jon revived Lowman Brothers Construction with a renewed vision. Since then, he has grown the company into one of Brevard County’s leading residential and commercial construction firms, continuing the family’s tradition of excellence.

Meet The Team

JON LOWMAN

President

Jon comes from a proud lineage of general contractors, continuing a legacy of excellence in construction. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from the University of Florida, driven by a passion to make an impact in the industry. After graduation, Jon traveled the country, refining his expertise by specializing in cancer vaults and medical offices. Fueled by ambition, he revived his father’s construction company, originally founded in 1979. What started in his garage has since grown into a flourishing business, now operating from the very building where his father built his legacy. With over 20 years of experience and hundreds of completed commercial and residential projects, Jon has established himself as a respected contractor, honoring his father’s legacy and making him proud.

TRISTA LOWMAN

Design & Management

Trista is a dedicated designer at Lowman Brothers Construction with over a decade of experience in the construction industry. She specializes in collaborating with clients and architects to accurately transform client visions into detailed plans. Trista works closely with clients to design every aspect of their space, guiding them through selections to achieve outstanding results. She develops comprehensive client portfolios and remains engaged throughout the entire project to ensure every detail aligns with the client's vision and design standards. Always up for a challenge and excited to explore anything new, Trista thrives on taking on innovative projects that push the boundaries of creativity and design.

JOHN CANARIE

Vice President of Construction

John is a seasoned professional with over 35 years of experience in the construction industry. As the Vice President of Construction, he has established a distinguished career marked by his leadership and expertise in managing high-performing construction teams.Throughout his extensive career, John has been instrumental in overseeing complex projects, ensuring their successful completion while adhering to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. His exceptional ability to lead and motivate teams has resulted in numerous awards and recognitions for excellence in construction management.John's dedication to his craft and his innovative approach to problem-solving have earned him a reputation as a key player in the industry. His strategic vision and hands-on management style continue to drive successful outcomes in every project he undertakes.

MIKE SCHULTZ

Construction Manager

Mike brings over 40 years of construction expertise to Lowman Brothers Construction, from building multi family homes in Columbia, Missouri, to crafting high-end custom homes and luxury retail spaces on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, Florida. With hands-on experience in every phase of construction, Mike is dedicated to delivering quality and exceeding expectations. We are incredibly fortunate to have him on our team, elevating our projects with his unparalleled knowledge and commitment to excellence.

JOSH LOWMAN

Construction Manager

Josh began his journey in construction in 2002, starting with foundation work at DRL Construction under the mentorship of his father, who instilled the importance of understanding a house from the ground up. Mastering framing and additional trades, Josh’s experience includes residential, commercial, and industrial projects. After two decades of hands-on experience in structural and finish trades like painting and trim carpentry, he transitioned from the tool belt to a supervisory role. At Lowman Brothers Construction, Josh now brings his extensive field knowledge to overseeing projects, collaborating closely with his twin brother, the company president, and his sister-in-law, the lead designer.

JON GRAUNKE

Construction Manager

Jon began his construction career in Chicago in 1984 as a union carpenter after a brief college football career. His dedication and skill quickly propelled him from foreman to superintendent, where he led teams in building houses and townhomes. With time, Jon’s expertise expanded, and he advanced to construction management, working with some of the largest design-build companies in the Chicago area. Known for his excellent communication skills and rapport with clients, Jon is appreciated for his clear, timely updates and his dedication to making each client’s vision a reality. In 2019, he traded Chicago winters for Florida sunshine and joined our team, where his decades of experience and client-focused approach continue to be invaluable.
